Description
The mongoose offers customers a lightweight, low-recoil pistol-caliber carbine for competition, home defense and plinking.Low recoiling mass is achieved by using a short-recoil operating system with redundant locking lugs rather than the conventional straight blowback system.A front cap compensator not only reduces muzzle rise but also ensures reliable firing when front barrier contact is encountered.Ambidextrous controls include mag release, safety selector and bolt catch/release.The non-reciprocating charging handle can be customized to either left or right-hand side.Takedown and field stripping is easy and quick.Magpul 35rd magazines allow for reliable feeding up the feed ramp and into the tilted barrels chamber.
