The rmu mount by reptilia is a lightweight, slim-line solution manufactured at the request of a dod customer.The rmu mounts are ideal for lifting a variety of optics with fixed height, lower 1/3 co-witness heights such as the eotech line of holographic optics, vortex optics amg uh-1, and sig optics romeo8t to an elevated height which is more ergonomic when using helmet-borne night vision or those who prefer a more upright shooting stance.The rmu mount is machined from billet 7075-t6 aluminum with milspec type iii hard anodized finish, the rmu mount attaches to any m1913 picatinny rail, and offers optimal sight placement with an increase in height of.625 inches.Its spring-loaded nitride steel clamp and mounting bolt simplify the installation process, and sit flush with the body of the mount for a low-profile, anti-snag design.
