The prodigy from springfield armory takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with a double-stack design and a performance-driven feature set.Finished in durable coyote brown cerakote, the prodigy features a polymer grip mounted to a forged steel frame that accepts the included 10-round magazines for capacity-restricted states.The double-stack magazine feeds a 5-inch bull barrel with an 11-degree crown for match-grade accuracy.Optics-ready, the prodigy utilizes aos (agency optic system) plates with an integrated rear sight, allowing for proper sight alignment and an intuitive sight picture.Each prodigy ships with a hex dragonfly-compatible plate
